Growth Characteristics  Serviceberry Autumn Brillance is a hybrid variety of serviceberry known for its brillant red fall leaves.  Serviceberry is a multi-stemmed tree or shrub that can grow 20-25 feet tall and 15-20 feet wide.  It has bright white flowers in the spring that produce an edible small berry in the fall. It has a moderate growth rate and generally easy to grow. When growing as a tree, the root suckers should be removed to deter a shrubby appearance. This is a shallow-rooted plant and would benefit from a layer of mulch to conserve moisture and keep the soil temperature moderate.

Water Needs: Average water needs. Can live in occasionally wet areas.
